Thanks to you all for your kind thoughts and prayers. Anna will go with her Dad to hospital tomorrow morning. With luck, this first procedure means he could be home within 24/48 hours.

I do hope that this will not put too much of  a strain on Anna!  And really hope that the procedure proves to be quick and successful.  I'll be thinking of Don and Anna tomorrow.

Pleased to report that Don's first procedure went well. He is sat up in bed and Anna managed to get a little food down him. They expect him to be in hospital for 3 or 4 days with various drips and 'things' being removed tomorrow.
