Right, I'm done with the high dose chemo and get three weeks off before starting the radiation and 24/7 chemo infusion, starting June 3rd.

I feel like crap right now. I wish the side effects would go away. They say about six to eight weeks.

I think I've changed my worst side effect from fatigue to Thrush (fungus in the mouth). I can't taste a thing, and I love my food so much.  Hopefully it will go away soon (meds haven't helped) because I want to eat, eat, eat.  I don't care about weight, I just want to taste good food again.

I'm beating this Cancer, and I'm thankful to all of you for your support.

Good Sue!...they say that "miso" soup can help counter the effectsof chemotherapy...go out for an nice Oreintal meal and get some egg drop soup..it ususally has miso in it. Might help somewhat...supposedly it cleans the radiation out of your blood system. Does the same with eviromental pollution also.

Wonderful news Sue!  With your determination there was no way the cancer could beat you!  Hope you can enjoy tasting the food again soon, meanwhile maybe you can sniff and enjoy! Smile
