Jackie Trent,singer and songwriter ,aged 74. Jackie and her husband Tony Hatch wrote the song "Where are you now (my love)? which was number 1 in the British charts in 1965.The pair also wrote the theme for "Neighbours" and the songs "I couldn't live without your love" and "The two of us".They wrote 400 songs.

Richie Benaud,legendary Australian cricket Test captain and pre-eminent commentator ,aged 84.He was a much loved cricket commentator at the BBC in England and Channel 9 in Australia.

Entertainer Keith Harris has died from cancer.

Probably best known for his performances with his puppet named 'Orville' Keith Harris was 67 years of age.
