Well the alcofrolic intake didn't help John either!! And ancient Egypt is certainly way off the mark. If you can get the DORA connection the answer will be screaming at you ! ! ! Dora's father died mid 19th century?????

Well keep trying, it is not as difficult as you may think...... I can assure you, you will kick yourself (and me too) severely when it is solved !!!!!

Dora      shortened name for Dorothy, but that might not help as the DIRECT connection is with DORA ! ! ! !

I'd fathomed with all my Googling that Dora was short for Dorothy, but assumed it's seems rightly so that it doesn't help Smile

I shall stick at it.

Dora's father was, and still is, very famous and poupular

You really are gonna kick yourself because when it is revealed it is so very obvious ...... to the point that you know it, or know of it!!!!!

But you will still probably want to see me hanging by the neck .....

I've found a Mount Dora in Florida, nothing to do with the answer of course, but it's the only Dora that I can come up with at the moment Frown

can't think of many more clues that will not give it away too easily

The 'word' you are looking for has appeared on POE quite a lot recently !!! .... and that should point you in the right direction
