This chap's nickname is also the Title of a charity 'club' in Hastings of which the late Queen Mother, Norman Wisdom and Churchill are named as members. Think I know who he is but not sure what he is famous for but expect it to be flying of some sort

If he's a pilot I'm working on the theories that he's crashed more times than anyone else and survived, he's never crashed, he's flown more missions than anyone else or he's flown more different planes than any one else ?

I still don't know who he is though. Maybe you'd better spill the beans Dave Smile

Sure there was a programme on about him recently aswell with the record for most aircraft carrier landings but cant remember how many
