Overpaid??  Surely not......out of £28 million up for grabs in this years Wimbledon, here's some of the breakdown for both men and women's prize money....

 Finalist £ 2 million

runner up £1 million

semi finalist  £500,000

 Quarter finalist £250,000

 As my careers advisor in high school in the 60s clearly forecasted--- forget sport; there's no money in it and, as for a music career-- Rock and roll is a passing fad, so get yourself a proper job to aim for. Like the civil service which paid £13/ week. That was clearly the way forward
