Hi there Cathyml - thankyou for your comments.  Take your point about the race (was that the yachts with the coloured sails) but I just loved this picture - more calming to watch than participate in.

You have also introduced some wonderful tours - its a great way of discovering pictures that you may have missed or ones going back from a long time ago.  I also find it a great way of finding out about new places to visit etc. I love doing my research before going anywhere and find this site a great help.

I so agree with you Jaunty Jane, I use making up tours as a permanent excuse to keep looking at the photos and discovering places I never heard of before!  I like the way it also makes me look at the pictures from a different perspective!

Thanks for adding that one to "The Members' Favourites Weird Tour" Jaunty Jane.  Anyone got any more "Weird & Wonderful" pictures to add, this is a tour for all members to add to?Laughing

Thanks a lot Cathy. That's exactly how I felt while creating the Tour ! Reminded me of Robert Frost's poem 'The Road Not Taken'.

You have created so many wonderful tours yourself.I enjoyed your waterfall tour very much because those are the kind of scenes I like very much. They make you feel so much at peace. Creating a tour enables one to discover so many lovely pictures one might have missed otherswise.

Enjoyed Jane's Simple Pleasures and Michael's My Lancashire a lot too.

I've compiled a collection of something I consider a thing of beauty of which there is no shortage in our England.  I hope you enjoy it.

Despite approving these pictures, I am still amazed at how different they look as members include them in a tour. Maybe it's because I get more time to study them for their beauty. Anyway, well done to all those who have put tours together.
