As one who is starved for fall foliage in my brown and pleasant land, it's time for some eye candy of the leaf kind.

I'll start off with this lovely one from Rob.

Ruth, I can't tell you how many times I have thought about the day I spent here. This is the Peto Garden of Iford Manor about a half-mile from where I stayed in Freshford not far from Bath while I was on sabbatical. This was taken on the last open day of the season in early November, 2006. I had the garden all to myself and it remains one of the most beautiful days I have ever experienced--almost ethereal.
