We'd just like to stress the importance of not posting material in the forum that has been taken directly from another website. This is because more often than not, that material will be subject to copyright.

Posting a simple short one line fact is usually fine, e.g. "The oldest cathedral in Britain is Durham Cathedral" as it would be pretty hard for anyone to prove you didn't write that yourself, however, posting large blocks of text that contain several sentences or even several paragraphs could trigger a lawsuit! and possibly a ban for this site by search engines for publishing duplicate content. In both these instances, it could potentially spell the end of this website.

The same goes for images. Please do not post an image on the site (including in the forum) unless you have strict written permission to do so by the owner.
