Just to add a bit more interest to the site, we've now got a 'facts' page for every county, town, and attraction. E.g.
http://www.picturesofengland.com/England/Oxfordshire/Oxford/facts

Members who are logged in can add facts using the form on each facts page, and they will appear on the site once they have been approved.

Once we have enough facts, we can then have random ones appear around the main site, linking to the page they are associated with. e.g. a fact about Oxford would link to the Oxford page.

I added a fact about Skipton Castle.

To find the facts pages, simply visit the attraction, town, or county page, e.g http://www.picturesofengland.com/England/Cumbria and then in the menu to the right of the main photo, you'll see the link. In this case 'Cumbria Facts'.
Alternatively you can visit a location such as the Cumbria page above, and then in the browser address bar simply add '/facts' to the end of the URL, so it becomes- http://www.picturesofengland.com/England/Cumbria/facts
