With such talent shared on this site, one can't wait to just seek out the little villages and lanes, churches and castles. It's a great site to visit when you are terribly homesick.

I can understand how that can be.

Where are you now?

Hi Catherine and welcome to the site. It's great to hear it helps in some way with your writing. Is it your first novel?

Yes, it's my first book.  It's coming along slowly because my life is so busy!

However, I read all eight of the parts which I've started and I actually like six of them very much!  It's evolving into more than a romantic tragedy.... I don't really know how it will be classified, but I think it's going to be good!

Thank you so much for asking!

Hi Catherine

A romantic tragedy sounds cool. You keep on writing, I wish I had the talent. Enjoy the site.

Thank you, Karen, for the encouragement!

We all have different talents and I'm hoping that writing turns out to be one of mine because I enjoy it very much.

Hello Cathrrine. nice to see you here. We seem to be getting a few members from the States on here now. Glad you like our photo's. Good luck with your book. You realise that you will have to send us all a copy now. lol.

It's nice to meet you, Peter, and I'll be happy to send you a copy of my book, when I finally get it written!  Right now it's all in my head, but, hopefully, I'll soon have time to continue putting it on paper.

I've been blessed with a very entertaining life and so much of it will be autobiographical, mostly humorous accidents of fate... or maybe they're not accidents at all!

Thank you for the welcome, Lyn, and it's nice to meet you!

Of course you can have a copy of my book, too!  You are all motivating me to stop letting life get in the way and to make the book happen... after all, nobody can read it if it's still in my head....

;-)

I live in a little rural town of 7,000 in Northern Nevada.

Do you like it?

I enjoy visiting rural areas but I like living where there's more going on.

I'm in the Houston area.  The landscape here isn't very pretty but there's a lot to do and the people here are very friendly.
