Hello All, I was born in England and adopted by Americans at an young age. I recently was re-united w/ my birth family and I'm absorbing all that is English. I met my mother and traveled southern England from Norwich to Bristol to meet all my family. I feel in love w/ England and everything she had to offer, the churches, the cathedrals, the fields, the tudor homes, the pubs....the history. I will never, ever forget my England and the family I have there. My life will never be the same.

Are there any like me?

Welcome Rob! What a lovely introduction and I am so glad that you got to meet your birth family and it worked out well. I live in the Black Country which is in the West Midlands and have lived here all my life.

Welcome, Rob!  I rather feel the same way you do about England, and I wasn't born there.  How wonderful that you were able to re-connect with your birth family in England.
