Monkey World, Dorset.

A memorial tribute in bronze, to Jim Cronnin, a co-founder of Monkey World Ape Rescue Centre, who lost his battle with cancer, in March, 2007. This wonderful centre continues to carry on rescuing ill treated apes from all over the world, ensuring his legacy lives on.

By the end of the first world war, only a few flocks of the Cotswold Lion (sheep) remained and it became a rare breed. Thankfully, due to conservationists, there are now more than 50 flocks, with many of them in the Cotswolds.
