Wishing Steps

Taken during a walk on the Chester City Walls on 28th April 2010. The boat in the window and the blossom took my eye as did the name of the house, as I got closer, The Wishing Steps.

While taking a stroll in Chester this door knocker seemed to attract me so I took a quick shot and later applied the vignette effect.

City Wall Cycle Lady

Was walking along the Chester City Wall and this lady appeared pushing her bike in a most determined way. Converted the image to sepia as I thought it added a little, plus the vignette. Taken in 2008 but I think it has a slightly timeless feel.
