A Fine Tribute (Alrewas)

Memorial to the 49th West Riding Infantry. National Memorial Arboretum. Staffordshire.

Royal Air Forces Memorial.

It was wet and dull, but this Memorial stood out, the RAF roundel adding colour. Maybe the man in the shot is a veteran of the Air Force. He seemed deep in thought and I was mindful not to disturb him.

Air Forces Memorial.

Taken at The National Memorial Arboretum 25th September 2011. It had been raining all day but my eye was drawn to this Memorial, and right on cue, the airship came into view.
