I live in Beijing China with my wife after taking early retirement in dec 2010 from my job in England,I now teach English part time to adults and children.But most importantly I now have the time to go out and photograph.
I did some photography in the late 80,s early 90,s but gave it up. Happily i rediscovered it again a few years ago,which goes to show you are never to old (even for digital).
I Bought myself a nikon d90 about 2 years ago and love it.
I like taking all kinds of photographs/themes, whatever seems right on the day, as it,s all a learning experience for me.
I have been a Buddhist for over 20 years with the last 15 in the Soto Zen School. I also enjoy practising Tai Chi and getting out and about on my mountain bike.Oh and I love films, music and Japanese Haiku poetry .Thats about it.
