Longships Lighthouse off Land's End, Cornwall The lighthouse stands about one mile off the coast of Land's End and warns shipping of the dangerous rocks around the coast. The shipping lanes carry a lot of traffic, including this distant container ship. There is a helicopter pad on the roof of the lighthouse as access by sea is difficult.
