Pett Level Lakes

Many people spend hours watching the wildlife around this wetland habitat, unfortunately I don't have the patience for such photographic masterpieces. I tend to turn my hand to something I can rely on, I know when and where the sun sets, all I have to do is be there. For this shot I sat in the long grass, with my legs and tripod dangling into the dyke. All it cost me was a few gnat bites!

Pett Level Beach

One mile west of Winchelsea Beach, the old breakwaters come alive when sea gets rough, this shot taken just as the tide starts to "turn" on a windy May afternoon.
