The heat and humidity here is compounded by the fact that I just returned from a fortnight in San Diego last night, where it was glorious every day and cool every evening! (My daughter was married this past Saturday in Balboa Park at the Prado--what a beautiful and perfect day!) |

There is some relief coming next week, though--daily highs around 25 degrees C (78 F) , where they should be for this time of year. |
