I'm a new member of POE and one of my interests is genealogy. I'm updating our family tree and bringing our website up-to-date with distant cousins in Canada and elsewhere. I live in Saddleworth, UK and there are web pages about that and Ireland where my mother was born. I'm 72 , and I suppose that I am part of history already so if anyone wants info about Saddleworth, I am a member of the Historical Society. I look forwrad to finding out more about our country gricey |

If you want to know about where I live and what type of place I like, please view http://www.gricetilburn.com/authorslikes.html and http://www.gricetilburn.com/saddleworth.html. Thanks for your email reply. John or gricey

John, you remind me of my mother who used to say, I don't care what you call me as long as you call me to eat. :-) Nice places you have there. I haven't been to Ireland yet but I do hope to get there some day. |

I don't do much photography these days but I have, just, submitted pictures to POE, two of which are waiting for approval. They can be found on Snowdonia, Lands End, Cornwall and Padstow, Cornwall. They are photographs of paintings that I did in the early 1990's. Some others appear in our website, on the page http://www.gricetilburn.com/authorslikes.html . Regards John |

I submitted a picture a few days ago of a pheasant crossing the road (Three Legged Cross, Dorset). And I also submitted the blown up version of the bird itself, it looked like a painting. Quite a few of my photos look like paintings. It's due to what I call "shaky hand syndrome." lol
