could anybody tell me the date of death for elizabeth ann birkin, born danesmoor, derbyshire 1872, her father was thomas birkin. she married thomas walker b1866. she died at moorthorpe, sth elmsall, pontefract

Try serching the burial records of Elizabeth Ann Walker (nee Birkin), she was probly Catholic and posibly buried at St Josephs Roman Catholic chuch, Moorthorpe. West Yorkshire.  It is now a fairly modern Red Brick built building, this has probly replaced the original church, but may still hold the records.

Failing the above, All Saints Parish church, in close-by South kirby holds buriel records dating back  through the ages, this is the address-

I'd like to know about a Elizabeth Ann Birkin, b. 1874 Derbyshire and I suspect married a Mr Walker, and died in Yorkshire in 1909.

Pamela I have not been able to find a death for Elizabeth Ann Walker  in Pontefract from 1900 - 1930, which would fit in with her age if she was born in 1872, on the FreeBMD site
