The place is Faccombe, Hampshire Co., England...town called Faccombe...there in the census in the

Doomeday book lived the Reade family...married the Cook according to the on line...British Peerage

and geneaolgies....Albert Reade m. Alice Cook...their son the rather noted George Reade came to

America from this lineage...but while I see brief referrences of the area...I see nothing specific.  Can

anyone give me more history on the town and what church these people would of been laid to rest at back

the...would  be much thankful. It's my understanding those in the area would be true early "Britons"?

Faccombe is southwest of Highclere and a tiny village not far from Netherton, Hampshire.  This photo is looking at the general direction of it south of Walbury Hill, Berkshire.

Walbury Hill, near Inkpen, Berkshire.

You can also read more about Faccombe here Shirley, where the last paragraph mentions an Andrew Reade; the family you mentioned. The church there is St Barnabas.

You wanna bet Sue...he is the best and I thank him greatly for his help and would like to

elaborate more on this...I have Alice Reade in teh British Peerage book was an "Cook"

where as this says she was the dau. of Francis Pooley....hubby's sister is now married

to an Cooley...or was. But putting that aside...William Sandy's in this general area was

one of the first to Jamestown in teh founding of Col Williamsburg...but I see another

person mentioned here also..and that is Thomas Pevernal 1207....he is mos tlikley the

Thomas Percell with William the Conquoer that I have born in Jersusalem...and an older

line of the Templar Knights.... they guard me these days because of family corruption in

all the lines with this genealogy work...and I might say..".hell" would come before they'd

give up thier "roots" and/or have them changed in any matter for others manipulations.

They have our line which includes the marriage of the Washington family in-law's also

and of course the New England "Larkin" family married into the Oliver line also. So now it

is I most likely need to go to FRance..Normany...or back to the 12 high priest's of the

Jersalem temple mount...as that is who and what all the "fighting" amoung all these families is about...not the Crown..but rather the preserving of the ancients and thier

connection with God...and thier bloodlines also. One side wants it for their own wealth..

the other side for its connection to God. I guess you know in the end..whose going to win.

Thank you...in helping  to open more doors to this fascinatng story I've been working on for well over 30 years now. Amoung my notes I have in my files is that an John Reade

graduated from Harvard in 1749. Probably an son of George Reade...though the area

that my mother's family resided fonded "Princeton" also and I know I am correct in that

the Davis are kin...and I  have them Presbyterian and working for the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Tenneesee was one John G. Lockins...I think was my grandfather's several generation back "brother"...it seems to be along the line the

DAR people suggested to my Great Aunt Katherine also. She was into the Masonic

Order women's as was my uncle an "Shriner".....and the family of Tenn. say they were

in this order since the late 1700's...so was Pres. Geo. Washington also.  But enough for now...there si still much to learn.  Percell's eventually erected Roselyn Chapel...the last of their prigrimage ritual rites church..... from the times of the Crusades.

I do no tkno whow this was double linked...but it serves no purpose with these people

as after they accepted me...the elder genealogist Patron..died...so it could go no further

then them and myself...as if it was ordained to be that way...he died of an heart attack.

they have had it with the "intruders" trying to be false in heart and false in legacy.
