Let's Count Our Blessings

My wife and I separated in November, 1985 and jsut when we were talking about making a frsh start, she had to go into hospital 'for tests'  She died there, just six days later, and I had to help my family pick up the pieces and help them to be strong, at a time when I felt anything but strong.  God's loving care helps see us through, and although there have been some hard times, I thank Him for His Many Blessings.  We all go through some terrible experiences, but please try to hold onto this thought:  Gold is made pure by being tried in the fire, and so it is with us.  Each trial surmounted helps make us better people, and without them the real beauty of life would be lost.
