The teacher you remember from schooldays, and why!

Mr. Elwyn Morgan Jones, Biology teacher at Wheatley Park. What a great man he was. Treated me like I was worth something.

Mrs. Sylvia West, deputy head mistress, Wheatley Secondary School. (or was she the head?) Also treated me like I was worth something.

Mr. Arnold, Wheatley Primary School way back in the 60's. Just becasue he was a good teacher and a good man.

Mr Martin, taught sociology. What a jerk!. came up behind me and smacked me upside the head once. I turned around and popped him, he never touched me again.

I would love to meet them all again (except Mr Martin) and show them that I 'turned out well'.

Miss Roark, my kindergarten teacher, I remember her because she was very pretty and very sweet.

Another teacher whose name escapes me was as vile as Miss Roark was kind, this teacher slapped me across the face and pulled my hair.  Eventually, the school had to let her go because there were so many parents who were up in arms over her abuse to their children.

Mrs. Cunningham in the fifth grade. She was a tiny terror, and even the other teachers were afraid of her.  She would stand at one end of the hall and make your blood curdle when she screamed your name. LOL!  But she was one of the best teachers in terms of her actual teaching ability. She had a way of making history come alive, and it was in her class that I first fell in love with the history of England!

 Had them good an bad..liked my history teacher, just his style in general was so much more contempary then most teachers..I could see why his son was the school's Valdictorian, and third highest in the entire USA. I went into history class one time, and he came to me with "Do you know who Mary Queen of Scot's is, Mary, Queen of England, and then he slips in this other "Mary" on me...and I told him the first two, and said I didn't know the thrid one, and he says,...Did you do your homework last night?...And I answered weakly, "yes"..but I don't remeber this Mary...and he sits up, with an broad smile..and says.."Good"..she was an famous prostitute!..I like to fallout of my chair, while everyone else was laughting their heads off.
