Hi Diana,

That is not right at all. Men respond to quality communications. When the tone goes up a notch to a 'whining' pitch; and up two notches to 'loud', and then the loop tape cuts in to 'repetition', and the echo facility is switched to 'full on'. Only then do I selectively tune out!! lol I am sure I speak for all 'Man' kind. InnocentTongue out

Hi Yeti,

Yeah, women do the same thing when they hear "What's for dinner?" (answer: What ever you're cooking dear.) or "Where's my jock strap?" (answer: I don't remember what I did with it the last time I wore it dear.) etc, etc. Is that what you mean?  UndecidedWinkLaughing

hi Yeti  LOL@DIANA

I hair you lound and clear. No, it's nothing like that. If I did not remember what I did with my 'jock strap' it is high time I stopped wearing one! I don't know many Yeti's who wear one actually. It would be like superman wearing his underpants over his clothes!

Is it a bird?

Is it a plane?

Is it a Yeti?

Diana, What did you say? You are right. Yes I am. Paul, you could be right too, they did all teach.

I was referring to their hearing loss though!.

Ray, I am sorry to read that.  Has that always been the case or was it due to an accident?
I used to be a firearms instructor, and competition shooting was my hobby. that is what did it. I now wear two digital hearing aids, but I am not complaining. I can tune in selectivedly and if I don't want to hear? what better excuse! lol

Me also Ray...when I built up the cholestrol deposits, they made my bones look like I had arthritis, which is one reason it went so badly as it did in diagnosing the real problem, but it left my hearing impaired...much like when an person's ears are aged..it requires an operation to correct now, but I use an hearing amphlier. Sometimes on an rare moment it seems like it wants to come back though. Therre's an lot of things I don't miss not hearing, though it irrataes others to no end some days..biggest problem for me is hearing base tones...or low speaking people. No problem though using an telephone.

This one was a bit hard...I should have given a hint.

They are all part of the original 13 colonies.
