Hi there, good morning, an beautiful morning it is!,.. I sent some of you some private emails that were sent to me that really ought to be shown all across the countryside. But I have a story to share, try to make it short, one is about an young man that is the Captain of his basketball team, near the Great lakes area of the USA, and he was late at an baskeball game with an strong rival school, one whose rival team had been an strong one for two years. he was alte becaus ehe was at the hosptial with his mother, whom at 39 years old died of cancer that day while he was there. He went to the game andhe asked in hsi anguish if he could work it off by getting back in the game, well, it was an hassel, and so where the "rules" ans so they gave the rival team two "free" throws for allowing it. Word apparently got around what had happened to him that day, as the kid from the rival team went up to make the "free" throws, he looked at the kid, and weakly threw the ball, missing the hoop, on the second throw he fiddled with the ball, let it kind of "bounce" across the floor out of his hand...and it was known by aa;ll...they were showing "respect" for  the Captain of the other team, whom lost this mother that day. thsi came through on yahoo news yesterday. Oneo fht ecomments was that if others in the world could show that kind of respect, it would probably not have the world in the mess that it is right now.

Now, for you "Brits"  whom seem to always be making me smile these days in some way...we have an large retail chain store out here that sells imported food, and they have an Brtish section of food..teas and other things British patrons seem to enjoy..that includes Heinz "Spotted Dick Pudding" on the lower shelf.....the Oxford Dictionary says that "dick" is an19th century colloquialism meaning pudding...but it was recenly observed two sharp-eyed young preadolescent boys were delighted when they saw the tinned confection. They were laughing so much they could hardly steady the cellphone cameras to take an picture of the raisins and suet dessert... this is definately an case of "boys will be boys"!

Just an update on my mother-in-law who went back into hospital last night (was in Saturday night too), and then transferred via ambulance the 160 miles to our nearest big city.

She is comfortable in the big city hospital with one of her daughters by her side. She is going to have an angiogram today and then we will know more.

We are all on tender-hooks, as she has an on-going heart problem.

Thank you guys. She has had an angiogram and found that the stint that was put in several years ago is no longer doing it's job, so they have replaced it (something like that).

We hope to go up to the big city tomorrow and pick her up.
