We are mainly interested in history and natural history rather than the nightlife etc. I have been looking all day for websites that might reflect some of our interests and this site looks like just what I was looking for. |

As Stephanie says there's a lot of help available here in the forum, you only have to ask the family members! It is indeed a great website and forum with enough pictures of England to keep you going for many months yet. Enjoy it and join in whenever you can. |

We are now planning to arrive in May and stay to the start of July. We are interested in the south - Kent and Surrey - where I grew up a VERY long time ago and south-west where some of our ancestors came from - Somerset and Devon. My huband has never been north of the equator. We might also take a quick trip over to Dublin where my husband's great grandmother came from. Very best wishes to you all. Angela |
