Budleigh Salterton's sea wall This should show how the pebbble wall of Budleigh Salterton is made and is an answer to Raymond Thurlsby's request for a detailed view. Should the tide reach over the top of the beach pebbles there would be nothing really to stop it's progress over this sea wall. Birds over Ladram Bay Ladram Bay is very near to Budleigh Salterton and Otterton and all form a part of Lyme Bay. Gulls are quite numerous in Lyme Bay and when the wind is breezy they take advantage of the gusts and lifts whilst circling in the sky.
