Walking back from White Bridge to Budleigh Salterton, in the last field on the right hand side stood this roe deer, quietly munching his tea. I think he heard the click of my shutter.

Budleigh cliff mist

The western end of Budleigh Salterton beach forms a cliff on top of which is the golf club. When the sea is rough and the wind is in the right direction the cliff gets really mistsy and ethereal.

Budleigh Salterton nature reserve

This Glossy Ibis visited Budleigh's Nature Reserve some time ago. It is not a regular visitor but made quite a "good spot" for local bird watchers.

Kersbrook

Kersbrook is made up of a few houses, farms and road. It lies to the east end of Budleigh Salterton. The fields around support herds of cows and the impression of "Devon Green" is overwhelming especially when the sun shines in a blue sky.

Fly agaric

Walking towards the River Otter I spotted this deadly fungus. It seems that something may have been nibbling the edge of this fly agaric!
