Autumn in Budleigh

I was armed with two cameras today. The left two thirds of this stitched-picture was shot from my Fuji s5600 and the right third was shot from my Fuji A850. Nevertheless they joined and quite well and made a record of Autumnal colours in Budleigh Salterton.

This horse is the stable friend of the white horse. They were both a bit damp today, as we were. It was a damp day.

There are stables in Kersbrook near Budleigh. This white horse (no whisky) was pleased to see us. We were all damp.

Budleigh's Oak Barn was crowded when we were last there. We had a marvelous cherry and almond scone and cups of coffee nevertheless.

Budleigh Birds

A strong wind blows everything. Ship's rigging, waves, birds. A big flock of gulls is being blown around off the Budleigh coast at Otter Head.

The steep path to the left of Umbrella Cottage stops at a road cutting across the descent. A handrail is provided on the left side for the walkers who are not sure footed.
