Budleigh's Raleigh wall John Everett Millais painted a picture entitled "The Boyhood of Raleigh" in 1870. The picture hangs in the Tate usually but at the moment it's not. Budleigh cinnabar moth This red and black moth fluttered into the grass nearby. It is a Cinnabar Moth, the eggs and larvae of which are used to eat and clear ragwort weed which is not good for horses.
