Park Lane at Budleigh Salterton This is the start, or end, of Park Lane at Budleigh Salterton. It travels Northward to Otterton along the Eastern bank of the River Otter. It is a "No Through Road" because the river has taken away half the road and only walkers and cyclists can get all the way along now. Pynes Farm, Budleigh Salterton Up until 8th April, Pynes Farm was open as usual, but there was a notice at the end of the access road that it would be closed from the next day unless you were calling to collect pre-ordered farm produce. All due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The road ahead is Park Lane which leads to Otterton and turning along the left road crosses the White Bridge to Budleigh Salterton. Old GWR line from Budleigh Salterton The old railway line that used to pass through Budleigh Salterton is now a cycle way and public footpath. I also use it on my mobility scooter for getting around. Trees now canopy the track and it's a quiet pleasure to use and see nature taking back something once it had lost.
