Budleigh Salterton Storm Dennis I sheltered under the projecting roof of the east prom cafe and managed to get three spots of rain on my lens. You may be able to discern the raindrops falling in the top left of the frame, but the glare of the sun is stronger than the prom lamp! The image is almost monochrome. Budleigh Salterton double rainbow There is a faint reflection of the rainbow mirror wise to the strong rainbow. The eastern outlet of the river Otter is where the rocky Otter Head and its crop of iconic fir-trees can be seen, picked out by the sun. Budleigh Salterton cliffs The recent February weather in Engand has been quite viscious in most, parts but in Budleigh Salterton we haven't had it as bad as the rest. We haven't had the snow! Budleigh's hidden garage A wooden garage in Budleigh was so overgrown with weeds and ivy that it wasn't recognisable as a garage, people just passed it thinking it was a hedge! Sadly, it has now been removed, the site has been reclaimed, a concrete garage has now replaced it. Budleigh sea mist It was quite cold today on Budleigh Salterton Promenade, 26th January 2020. Rain had been falling all morning and as it had stopped we went for a walk. The mist was being blown up the Triassic cliffs of red, obscuring the golf course on the top and the trees of the cliff on its way upward. Kites were flying whilst the flag was flapping.
