Description

Loughrigg to Fairfield

Still on route upto Lily Tarn looking back Northwards to a closer view of the Fairfield Horseshoe. A walk of around 12 miles either way round. From the right passing High Sweden Bridge to ascend the ridge capped by Low and High Pikes upto the top of Scandale Head then across the top to descend via Great Rigg, Heron Pike, Lords Crag and eventually down Nab Scar and back into Ambleside via Rydal Park. Not yet done it but keep in the 'to-do' list but it is quite a challenge!!
