About Bearslake Inn

Set in a charming Devon longhouse dating back to the 13th century, this inn is located between Dartmoor’s Okehampton and Tavistock in the hamlet of Lake. Bearslake Inn offers 6 rooms with attached bathroom and parking. The A30 is around 2 miles from the property. The Sourton Tor, Corn Ridge and Great Links Tor are all just a short walk away with the Granite Way cycle path running directly behind the pub. All rooms offer tea and coffee making facilities with fresh Taw Valley milk (available from the bar), luxury toiletries, still and sparkling water, digital TV and free WiFi. Each has an private bathroom with hairdryer and ironing facilities are available. Out of the 6 rooms, 4 of them are pet-friendly. A luxury breakfast hamper is delivered to guest rooms every morning. It features homemade, sweet and savory goodies, Devon yogurts and cereals, fresh fruits, local fruit juices and Devon blended tea and coffee. An option to add smoked salmon or a bottle of chilled bubbly to the hamper is available at the time of check-in. Guests with allergies or dietary requirements can be catered to with 72 hours prior notice. A Grab&Go breakfast including a takeaway coffee or tea of your choice and a croissant per person is also available. The Bearslake Inn serves meals from Wednesday to Sunday and specializes in West country-style meals with locally sourced produce. Enjoy a la carte meals in the Stable Restaurant or lunches in the 16th century Dartmoor Room. The property’s Cozy Bar serves locally produced real ales. Guests can also relax in the spacious garden with views of the moor across open farmland.
