About Berrow

This is a small seaside holiday resort which merges with Burnham-on-Sea, it has a vast expanse of beach fronted by Berrow Flats. It is close to both Brean Down and the estuary of the River Parrett, in a popular region dominated by chalet and caravan parks.

Away from the seafront there are pleasant country walks, a few shops, some pleasant inns and there is a golf club. The historic Church dedicated to St. Anne, can be found surrounded by a peaceful churchyard, this shows graves from several centuries and is located in a quiet part of the town.

From Berrow there are splendid view towards the iron-Age fort topping Brent Knoll.
