About Trentham Gardens

These pictures are of the garden and lake of Trentham Gardens, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire.
This was the former home of the Duke of Sutherland until the early 20th century when the stately home was demolished. However a few buildings, the lake (man-made by diverting the nearby River Trent) and the formal gardens remain.
A very pleasant, tranquil location.Information by JWBULL
