Cairngorm Lodge Youth Hostel is housed in a former Scottish shooting lodge, offering stunning views of the Northern Corries. Located in the heart of Cairngorm National Park, it is 7 miles from Aviemore and just 2 miles from the Cairngorm Mountain Funicular and snowsports area. This 72-bed youth hostel provides great facilities including a good range of dorms and private rooms, a well-equipped self-catering kitchen, bike storage, a drying room and WiFI. Cooked breakfasts, packed lunches and full evening meals are also available. Cairngorm Lodge Youth Hostel is popular with outdoor enthusiasts. Most activities take place on the Rothiemurchus Estate, which offers paths through Caledonian Pine forest. The Loch Morlich Watersports Center and a large beach are opposite the youth hostel. You can also visit the Reindeer Center. Dogs are now welcome at Cairngorm Lodge when guests book a private room. A small fee of GBP 5 per dog per night will be charged. Please note that all dogs must be booked in advance to ensure that a dog friendly room is allocated.
