So here is your chance to make me jealous when snow comes to you! Tell us when and where in England you see the first covering of snow this winter. Some pictures would be nice obviously! Lets see who gets it and reports it first. I can assure you it won't be me |

Here in North Carolina, we are in an "exceptionally" severe drought and we would love to see snow,sleet,hail or rain of anykind.  |

| nyyank Posts: 87 Joined: 22nd Jan 2008 Location: USA | quotePosted at 19:53 on 27th January 2008 Snowing steady,albeit lightly,here on Cape Cod.Forecasters predict 3-6 inches.Pratically a snowless winter in NYC however,only 2.9 inches al winter thus far.I remember we always had some snow every winter when I was stationed inSuffolk during the 60's,sometimes heavy falls occured but not often.Global warming folks,its going to kill us all eventually. |

Wheatley, Oxford and I remember how great it was to be a kid in the snow. Where I live (not in England) we are forecast 6 - 8 inches of snow today, not bad for desert Nevada. (Here's hoping I post these correctly)    |
