Last seen in England over 230 years ago, there are now plans to reintroduce the incredible White-Tailed Eagle to parts of the Isle of Wight after a successful program to do the same in Scotland, which now has 130 breeding pairs.

The White-Tailed Eagle (also known as the 'Sea Eagle') which has a wingspan of up to 8 feet, was once a common sight in England but was hunted down until there were none left at all.

They feed on fish, mammals, and small birds, with some farmers now worried that their lambs could soon become prey to the giant bird.

Currently the best place to see the bird is the Isle of Mull along the west coast of Scotland.
