Yes---worth a look from time to time; didn't find what I was looking for, but found someone who was looking for what I had in their family history.

It was a post on Curious Fox which first  got me interested  in my family history.

When I first went online, about 4 years ago, I googled my maiden name and came up with a post that I recognised to be about my grandfather's family - got in touch with the poster, and that was the start of my addiction to Family Tree building!

Like Paul I didn't find information I could use, but I do check it out now and again.

I really like the facility they have to list towns/villages within a certain number of miles around the one you are interested in.  And that has led me to finding information I probably wouldn't have found.

Hi Pat, welcome to the POE (Pictures of England) Site, I hope we will see more of you in the forums.  If you would care to go to "Forums", "User Introductions" and tell us a little about yourself, that would be great.
