we have just taken a few days break in the cotswolds-the last week of March 2010.

We stayed at the Broadway hotel in Broadway, Worcestershire.

The weather was terrible rain, sleet and wind, but we thoroghly enjoyed it.

We visited many towns and villages and they all had something to offer us despite the weather.

e were fine in our raincoats and umbrellas-churches, abbeys and of course pubs offerd us shelter from the storm. We had some excellent local foods and friendly evenings in the hotel bar.

Don't let the weather put you off visiting us in England -we don't let it spoil our  sightseeing or our enjoyment.

I do so love the Cotswolds!

Of course, I grew up fairly close, a day trip to the Cotswolds was often on the books.

I love Bibury

We spent our honeymoon in the Cotswolds. In fact, The White Hart Inn in Ford. Wonderful little pub/inn, which we have returned to many times.

So glad you had such a good time, Peggy. And you are right, we must never let a bit of rain spoil your enjoyment of this wonderful country.

The Amish are a sect that live in  Penn USA, they choose to live on basics, (Accept when their leaders think not) They are interbred , hide themselves from the rest of the world living in the past (i've no problem with that, whatever floats your boat, lol).

The English are verymuch upto date but preserve their past. I am surprised Niel Armstronge and his crew didnt pass an Englishman on his way back from the moon when they were going, lol.
