my 27 year old daughter (Step-daughter) has just had her Halo removed!!

no I dont mean she has stopped being an angel lol . Last boxing (christmas) day she fell down some steps and hit her head on the wall breaking her neck in two places. it was touch and go at first but as luck happened she avoided paralysis but was put in a halo (a scaffold type frame that was bolted by 4 screws into her skull then bolted to a body frame) it meant she couldnt shower or the like for the past 6 months or sleep properly. She is still living at home and has been in her bedroom (apart from frequent visits back to the hospital for x-rays and checks). She was looked at strangely on the odd occasion her mum took her around ASDA lol.  Anyway, shes 'over the moon' as they say and will hopefully be able to go back to work soon (Angel? no-way, what 27 year-old is). lol.
