I was wondering if any of our overseas members have ever been to a live pantomime? (No, I dont mean the House of Commons lol)  If so which is there favourite?

Can us Brits answer too Michael!?

I went to see Mike & Bernie Winters in a pantomime when I was a child - think it was Cinderella - the memory is very vague!

I took the two older boys to see Sooty in Goldilocks & the Three Bears a few years ago- my eldest has always been a big Sooty fan - he went on stage with him once at one of the Sooty shows and danced - I was so shocked as he is quite shy!

I don't even know what it is! Is it a sort of comedy show?

Are you saying you don't know what we mean by 'pantomime' Krissy?

Is it akin to our Christmas or holiday pageants that we do here?

Load of pillocks dress up with heavy make-up (mainly men in womens clothing) and sing, dance and entertain the kids. Its fun really though. I liked Mother Goose, and there is a sort of story to it...

You are right of course POE'rs normally at Christmas, or what was it to be called Winterval, or something stupid?

Why not Winterfest, if they must change it?  Winterval sounds stupid indeed!  Or here's an idea -- leave it alone!  Happy Christmas!
