Brought up in the same area as John, Paul & George of the Beatles. I even lived in a house called "Mendips" for many years. As for the English Heritage competition, it passed me by and the deadline for entries has now passed. Interesting idea though, and I suppose most of us who take the odd pocture would have an idea of one shot that summed up their home town, city or village. Looking at the quite large number of pictures on POE of Liverpool, there must be quite a few of us "natives" who are signed up to this great site.
