1963 James.....never been right since, really was cold enough to freeze them off...

My parents told me that 1947 was bad also, but I'm not as old as you so wouldn't remember. Lol

i was only a toddler then cath but i remember myg/mother saying to me a few yrs later that it was a bad one the snow was 6ft deep in places and a lot of people were snowed in for days.
