Finally . . . first-born female children of the Royal Family are now on the verge of gaining an equal footing with their male siblings when it comes to the Succession to the Throne. I have to say that it is about time!

Also, it has been recommended that the law banning the spouse of a Roman Catholic from ascending the Throne be eliminated. Again, it is about time!

Totally agree. If we are to retain a viable Royal Family we have to remove some of the antiquated rules and customs that we Brits seem to revel in!

God help the country if we ever go to a Republic!!!
