Causing an obstruction so it's illegal, inconsiderate parking, or this okay in your book?

Does this count as bad parking in your opinion? See ID 1179159 that I took and approved.

There was plenty of parking space on the road, but the driver of this vehicle has decided that she doesn't want her car potentially damaged, so has parked it in the driveway of her mother-in-law's property, my neighbour!

Frequently, this pathway is used by disabled persons with motorized vehicles.

Tottally out of order 4 situations come to mind.

1 Person with Zimmer frame.

2 Blind person.

3 Electric wheel chair.

4 Person pushing wheel chair.

Just inconsideration towards others

Definately an obstruction---£500 fine and 6 penalty pointsSmile

Being more serious it is a case of inconsideration with no thought for anyone else--there is a similar case in my area.

I think the ID is 1179159 Ron Smile (you missed the last 9)

Don't you just want to walk by with a pushchair or similar and scratch the blooming thing. I know I do, but inconsiderate people, drivers, parkers get right up my nose.

Likely committing criminal offences under----

Section 28; Town Police Clauses Act 1847 : wilfully causing an obstruction to any public footpath or public thoroughfare.

or Regulation 103; Construction and Use Regulations 1986. or perhaps Section 22 Road Traffic Act 1988, or Section 137 Highways Act 1980.

And what about the car seen through the windows? Parked on the road is it?

Paul you've brought back some memories, I remember having to learn various sections of the Town Police Clauses Act in 1977. There were some weird offences - the one that sticks in my mind is the offence of shaking or beating any carpet, mat or rug , with the exception of door mats, beaten or shaken before the hour of eight in the morning.

I'm sure there was something about flying a kite as well ?

Those were the days Smile
