Hi folks, just had this mail earlier from Pat.

The  hip op went fine, but unfortunately the after effects of the  what ever they gave me , nearly killed me off,  i have alost week of knowing nothing. so i as rushed to Bath Hospital where i had very good treatment, so at last i am back into this wonderful world. i came home from the hos last night which has taken it out of me today, its an hour and drive from Bath to here, very uncomfortable in the car,

But now its just getting better i am walking only on one stick with no pain in the hip at all.
so could you please put a note on POE forum saying i will be back hopefully in a few days time.
expect when i get some of Bern’s cooking in me i shall feel better
all the best to everyone
Pat

She is obviously doing a bit of e-mailing though maybe not upto a full attack on POE yet, but I'm she would appreciate any messages

I have had a mail from Pat as well saying much the same, seems she has had a trying time but at least is back where she belongs and that is proper medicine in itself. I reckon now that Pat is in communication again she will see how we are all wishing her on to get better - and that as well is medicine as well.

Wishing you well Pat and hope you are up and running soon.

That you for passing on Pat's letter, Dave.  Please tell her that I am praying for a fast recovery.

I am so sorry that she had such an adverse reaction to the meds. Glad it all for it sorted.

Cyber hugs for Pat.
