Hi there Mrsnickelby, When all the above have finished their banter I would like to say welcome to POE ! Sorry you had a few problems with loading but guess what other POE members( & a brand new one as well) are there with an answer. This is what the Family of POE is all about, join in here in the forum as you will be made most welcome. Looking forward to future pics as they come, will be interested to see what parts of Surrey your photos will be of, I am a Surreyite although the others will tell you I go on about Cornwall more. Sit back, join in and enjoy yourself here.

Thank you everyone for your lovely welcome! I'm having a bit of a hard time navigating this website! It's taken me AGES just to work out how to reply to your posts- what a ditz!! I've tried to change my user name as people have said it's too complicated and I can't even work out how to do THAT. Patience is a virtue.......

Hi mrsnickleby, I think you will have to keep your user name but somewhere in your Profile or Account page there is an option for to change show how you want to been seen by other members. I have a user name but use my own name so have a look and you will find it. All sites are differnet and they all take time to learn. Stick with it and you will be well pleased it is a great site.......as i have said in other threads.....I wish I had found it along time ago

Just had a quick look and this is it..........

Go to 'My Account' then down to 'My Preferences' and this is where you can change your name and also put up you avatar

Have fun ! ! !
